Ezra.

The AI front office for UK law firms.

Financials

Numbers a partner can actually trust.

Most firms learn a matter lost money only after it has closed. Ezra shows matter P&L, WIP and money-at-risk in real time — and every figure drills to the rows that built it.

AI, with guardrails

AI that stays in its lane.

Ezra’s agents take the admin out of being a lawyer — they don’t replace the lawyer. The loop is fixed: capture → AI → human decide → explainable money.

  • Every client-facing draft queues for human approval — the agent never sends on its own.
  • Conflict identities never reach the model — it sees a clear / blocked / review verdict, nothing more.
  • AI never moves money — funding alerts notify the firm; people decide and act.
  • Every compliance flag quotes the transcript — no quote, no flag.

Why not just Clio?

Clio is the system of record. Ezra is the front office.

Ezra is built on Clio, not instead of it — and does the things a practice-management system, or a CRM bolted onto one, was never meant to.

Common questions

Answers, in brief.

What is Ezra?
Ezra is the AI front office for UK law firms. Built on Clio, it runs the whole client funnel — marketing attribution, intake, compliance and matter management — in one place, with AI agents working alongside the firm at every step.
Who is it for?
UK law firms. Ezra is in private beta and in production at Thomas Mansfield, a UK law firm running thousands of live matters on it.
How does Ezra relate to Clio Manage and Clio Grow?
Ezra keeps Clio Manage as your practice-management system of record — contacts, matters, time and billing stay in sync both ways. What it replaces is Clio Grow: Ezra is the AI-native front office in front of Manage — voice agents that answer the phone and create the lead, native intake forms, KYC/AML/DSAR workflows, recorded and transcribed consultations with AI attendance notes, and matter P&L that's drillable to the row.
What does Ezra integrate with?
Clio Manage and Xero for practice and accounts; Google, Meta and LinkedIn Ads plus GA4 and Search Console for marketing; Infinity and MediaHawk for call tracking, mmunicMail for forms, ElevenLabs for voice agents, Twilio for SMS/WhatsApp/voice, self-hosted Cal for booking, Recall.ai for meeting capture (video and in person), Deepgram for video-call transcription; Thirdfort for KYC/AML and DocuSeal for engagement letters.
Does the voice agent really work?
Yes — it's in production. The voice agent (ElevenLabs voice, Claude tool-calling) answers every inbound call, qualifies the enquiry, books a consultation onto the right fee-earner's calendar and creates the lead in the pipeline with the contact and matter context already attached. Per-firm configurable.
Can we record and transcribe calls and meetings?
Yes. A Recall.ai bot joins consultations on Zoom, Meet or Teams, announces consent when the client joins and tracks who attended; Deepgram transcribes those calls, with speaker detection. The recording auto-attaches to the matter from the participants on the invite, and AI drafts a UK attendance note for the fee earner to review and file. In-person meetings are captured by a desktop recorder app instead, where the fee earner obtains consent in the room; that capture is handled by Recall, not Deepgram, and the fee earner files it to the matter.
Is Ezra multi-tenant SaaS?
Not yet, by design. Today Ezra is deployed per firm — each customer runs on a dedicated stack so data isolation is structural, not configurable. A self-serve multi-tenant onboarding flow is on the roadmap; we'll let you know when it's ready.
How do I get access?
Ezra is invite-only while in private beta. Submit your work email at ezralaw.ai/#request-access and the team will be in touch.
